Just had my eye test at the Vision Express store and it was £13 with the online discount – thanks! Overall great experience and no waiting around I was happy with the service and will come again. Glad I found a cheap eye test.

Looking around for my eye test this year since my employer stopped paying them, its great being to get a price online and compare the opticians in my town rather than having to go instore to each one of them and find the cheapest eye test.

I paid £28 at Specsavers for my eye test. Next year I will make sure I shop around and get the cheapest eye test possible.

Recently had an eye test at D&A opticians in Birmingham! My eyes were fine in the end but I was very pleased with their service I thought It would be nice to write a review. My friend recommended me as she is a regular customer of D&A opticians and regularly has eye tests. I was told that I could go for a free eye test and they would be able to inform me if there was anything at all wrong with my side. It was the usual reading letters, standing far away and seeing if you could read the letters as they got smaller. The customer service was exceptional they were very welcoming and friendly and I will definitely make D&A opticians my usual for eye tests.

Hi Rach, You need to get a HC1 form and then yes it is free. As far as I know these can’t be downloaded from the internet therefore get one from your doctor. Thanks, Darrell

Booked a Vision Express Eye test on here because of the 50% discount voucher. Was pleased with the quick service of Vision Express – They contacted me the next day confirming the date and time of my appointment. I found them to be very welcoming – offering me free tea/coffee/hot chocolate that I could help myself to whenever needed. It was only a few minutes before I was taken in for my eye test. The optician was lovely, very friendly and chatty. She did a number of tests to check all aspects of my vision and there was some equipment used that I had never seen before but she explained this all to me so it was fine I didn’t actually need glasses in the end, just some tear drops. I was very pleased with their service. With 50% discount it only ended up being Â£12.50! They have also booked me in for a field test next week (free of charge) to check my peripheral vision. I would definitely recommended Vision Express, especially with the 50% off.
